We are just loving Weston. He is doing so well and adjusting to our noisy house. Josh adores him and gives him kisses all day long. I am trying not to think about how I will do it by myself...right now we are just enjoying being snuggled in our home with our boys surrounding us. Weston seems to like looking at pictures. Today Josh and I had a conversation about how Wes just came from heaven where he was with Jesus and Cameron. He must have been having fun with Cameron and didn't want to leave cause he sure made us wait! Who could blame him. I feel so blessed to have such wonderful boys in my life. Ben is such an amazing father and husband. My angel boy Cameron is an example and motivtation for me. Joshua is full of such spunk and sweetness. And now Weston--what a gift. How blessed I am.

Weston Michael Capell
He's finally here! I was induced at 8 days late and he was born December 17th at 12:29 am. Weighing in at 10 lbs. 5 oz. No I am not kidding...he is huge. And everything went very well. It took my body a little while to get going with the pitocin, but once it did it went pretty fast, and after 1/2 hour of pushing he was born-perfect little sumo. We actually came home today and are all doing great. Josh loves his little brother, but also loves his mom....so there may be some transition time.

Past Due
Still no baby and it has been way too long since I posted pictures of cute Josh. The reason why is because he no longer will let me take his picture. As soon as he sees the camera he wants to watch himself on it. So getting a good picture recently has been hard. I tried to upload a video so you could understand but blogger is having issues...I'll try again later. For now here are a few pics...
He loved sitting in Santa's seat but once Santa came he was freaked out. I don't even have a picture because he wouldn't let go of Ben to get near him. Josh loves to hide and sometimes I really can't find him. The other day he discovered it was fun to climb into his toybox. Today he climbed into the cupboard and shut the door. I really didn't know where he was until he started calling, "josh". He isn't afraid of the dark, so he will go upstairs, downstairs, in closets and hide pretty quietly for at least a few minutes while I really search for him. Funny kid!

Rocking Out
Josh has been watching a video on Phil and Jenny's blog of cousin Bodie playing his guitar and singing. He watches it at least once a day over and over again. He loves guitars. So I found this one at Target the other day and decided to buy it for him. He has been quite entertaining dancing and playing it around the house. The first couple of mornings after we bought it he would wake up saying guitar and want to rush downstairs to find it. Pretty cute!

Thank You
Ben came home Saturday night with these beautiful tulips. Very sweet and sentimental. I planted bulbs the fall after Cameron died and then in the spring they bloomed. Our neighbors have said how nice it is when they come up again and remind them of us and Cameron. It just seems symbolic.....for a season in the cold ground but then to bloom in the sunshine of Spring.
Eating Cameron's favorite...animal crackers and opening a favorite book of Cameron's sent by Yama.
Cameron's baseball cake.

Josh holding all the balloons. (this is just a preview picture...I am going to post a slideshow of more pics soon.)

Happy Birthday Cameron!
Oh, how we love you so.
Your grin was sent from heaven
And your eyes just seemed to glow,
With knowledge of a deeper love,
One, we had yet to know.
We loved each day you spent on earth,
Filled with kisses, and a hurried touch,
That warmed our very soul.
Our memories are filled with much,
Like, balls and bats and small red shoes,
"Swinging to the Moon" and such.
You learned it all with record speed,
Your quest, it knew no bounds.
You taught us all to live with love,To grasp each new day found.

High to the Moon
Cameron's birthday is next Sunday, the 26th. I thought it would be neat to have friends and family wherever they may be let balloons go "high to the moon" on his birthday. Take a picture and email it to me. I saw this on somebody else's blog and it was really neat to see all the different pictures. I already have started a tradition of letting balloons go on Cameron's birthday, but thought it would be fun to invite all to join in since we are far from family this year. So if you feel so inclined join in....Thanks and loves to you all. We couldn't ask for better friends and family!

More Baby
Today I took Josh to the doctor with me. He was good but restless strapped into his stroller. The doctor did an ultrasound and then she pulled out the doppler to listen to the heartbeat. I love hearing the heartbeat. I told Josh to listen, and that it was the baby's heartbeat. He became still and serious as he heard the heartbeat. He put his finger to his mouth and said "shhh". Then when the doctor was done he said "More. More baby." The doctor got a page and so was in a bit of a rush. Josh continued to say "more baby" as we left. It was very cute, and makes me want to take him to all of my appointments.

Playing in the Rain
I haven't posted for awhile so I am going to back up and post some older stuff. We got a lot of rain with tropical storm Hanna a few weeks back. When it first started pouring, Josh loved playing in it. And later Ben didn't. After our basement flooded Ben was outside trying to keep the water moving away from our house. I was laughing so hard that I couldn't even help him. He was soaked in about 3 seconds. I wanted to take a picture but I was already in trouble for laughing and not helping very much.
Josh is into saying bye to everything. "bye-bye bubble, bye-bye bus, bye-bye guys, bye-bye ball,..."

Utah Trip-- Part 3
Josh eating an icecream cone. (He would sit in Carlee's stroller but not his own).
Blowing me kisses on the carousel.
Pointing out the gorillas--his favorite!Park City
We went up to Park City a few times while we were in Utah, twice with Ben's family, and once for our anniversary. It was so green and gorgeous up in the mountains. We took a ski lift up the mountain. Something I would not recommend for active toddlers. It was pretty scary trying to keep Josh on our laps. But we made it and the views were breathtaking. I miss those Utah mountains.
All of us.
Dad getting an awesome Josh hug. Josh is such a snuggly guy and randomly surprises us with hugs around the neck. I love it!

Utah Trip--Part 2
Another tradition we started is to go to a baseball game the 16th. Cameron loved baseball and this is something fun we can all do together that celebrates his wonderful life.

Josh riding on the train. He had a very hard time waiting in line until it was his turn and then he was so serious the whole ride. That is the new obsession lately--trains.Posted by Cassi at 10:25 AM 4 comments
