I decided I needed to post these side by side. There is more of a resemblance than I realized. Cute little guys.

Photo Shoot

This is about the age I took black and white naked pictures of Cameron and they turned out so cute so I decided to do the same with Joshua. But he is still so serious in pictures. He will be smiling and giggling and talking and then I pull out the camera and he furrows his brow and stares me down. Oh well. They are pretty cute anyway...

Rolling Over

Josh learned to roll from his stomach to his back today. I thought it might have been a fluke, but he has done it almost every time I put him on his belly since. As soon as he figures out he's moving I think it will all be over.

So much going on...

We are really leaving Boston and I have such mixed feelings. We are trying to get moving plans made, and all that crazy stuff that comes with a cross country move. So we are literally moving cross country. Ben has taken a summer job opportunity in California (outside of San Francisco). It really will just be a long vacation since we will only be there 7 weeks. But we have to find a place to stay and some furniture since we are going to leave our stuff in Utah. I am giving myself headaches thinking about it all. It will be a fun adventure to be in California. I have never been to San Francisco, and Ben is pretty excited for some different work. Plus our friends Luke and Emily will be there, and they can show us all the cool stuff.

I just got back from the Doctor. Josh has been fussy and I wanted to make sure he didn't have an earache. He doesn't--he is teething! I know he is only 3 months, but he is slobbering and chewing on everything. The nurse didn't believe me when I called but Cameron got his first tooth really early also. So we will see what happens.

This is a random post, but leaving Boston is making me sad and thinking about Cameron and all the fun we had here. Our neighbors donated to the Watertown library in Cameron's name and there is a ceremony of sorts on Sunday at 1:30. There is a plaque in the children's room with Cameron's name and they are now putting a brick outside with his name on it as well. It will be neat to see it.

The Children's museum has some new exhibits. This one Cameron would have loved. We had fun shooting hoops. Bodie was also pretty cute dancing on the dance floor. It was a little bit of a crazy day. We decided after the museum to take the T downtown and walk around Boston Common and Newbury Street. Taking the T with 3 kids and 2 strollers proves to be somewhat difficult. But it was an adventure.

We left Carlee and Josh with a sitter and took Bodie to a Red Sox game. It was really fun, and the perfect night at Fenway. Bodie was pretty amazed by all of the crazy yelling fans. All the girls thought he was cute. He really wanted the beach ball to come our way so he could hit it. He kept raising his arms up waiting for it. Too bad the Red Sox lost, but it was still a fun night.

Josh and Lila. Lila is a pro with all these babies around. She cracks us up all the time copying everything her mom does. Let's just say her baby dolls are very well taken care of.

The whole gang...well almost a few are running around the park. And of course we always miss Cameron especially when we find a fun new park.

So you can't really tell from all the pictures but Josh likes to smile and talk all the time. He is either very serious with the Daddy, Cameron scowl or he is smiling. I have even got him to giggle a few times. It takes a little bit of work and me making a fool out of myself, but so worth it.

Josh likes to sit by himself on the couch. After all he is 2 1/2 months old.

Ben taught Josh how to hold onto your fingers and sit up, and now Josh will not just lay down and relax. He is constantly trying to sit up.and stand up too! His little legs are deceivingly strong.

We flew home in April so everyone could meet Josh. It was fun to show him off. He did great on the plane and I was relieved. We were hoping for some hot Utah weather but I think we brought the cool wet Boston weather with us.

Carlee and Josh are about the same size, but Carlee is nearly six months old. She is so cute, and they had fun playing on the ground together...well actually Josh didn't like it so much. Carlee was steamrolling him and he couldn't fight back yet.
