Weston is getting so old. He is 16 months now and copies everything Josh does. He just started folding his arms when we say prayers and saying amen. Tonight at bedtime Wes came and sat on the ground and folded his arms, then Josh knelt next to him and said a prayer. Then Wes pulled his binky out and said bless. It was so cute. So Ben helped Weston say a prayer. Ben told Wes to say bless Josh. Wes looked over at Josh and then wrapped his arms around him in a big bear hug that knocked Josh to the ground and Wes layed on top of him hugging him. So sweet. Of course this turned into Weston and Josh wrestling. But it was so funny cause Wes was the one starting it. The were rolling on the floor hugging each other. I love that they are such buddies and love each other so much!

My Big Brother
Yesterday we were driving in the car and Josh was counting. He said we have 5 in our family. I said you are right and counted through everyone including Cameron. This then sparked a conversation about Cameron. Josh said I miss him and love him so much. I can't wait until he comes down from heaven so I can play with him. Maybe he can bring his bike, I think it's orange. Then he said Cameron is my big brother and Weston's big brother too. Then he asked me if Cameron was a big boy or little boy like him. I attempted to explain that Cameron was just little when he died but now he was a grown spirit and a big boy. But when he is resurected he will be a little boy again. Amazingly Josh followed this conversation and seemed to even understand. We all miss our Cameron.

Playing some ball
aaaahhh. I just have to start this post with that. And with how much I miss my Cameron boy. And a few pictures...

Wes has really started to like balls lately. He picks up a ball then starts looking for a hoop to dunk it. It sure reminds me of Cameron.

At the Easter Egg hunt he found a football in the backyard picked it up and started running to the front. We couldn't figure out what he wanted (all the kids were in the back). Then I realized he was taking it to the hoop. That is exactly what he did. Got under the hoop lifted his arms and the ball up and started grunting for someone to pick him up to dunk the ball.

Josh's Swim Lessons
Josh loved his swim class. I hoped he would learn more but his teacher was constantly corraling the five 3 year olds. On his "report card" Ms. Sherry said he was not afraid to try new things and he was a good listener. I read it to him and made a big deal about it. Then the other day when I asked him what he was good at, he said "I am a good listener." So cute. He also tells me he is good at staying in his big boy bed. I just say, "yes you are." Positive thinking...

Easter
We had a fun Easter weekend. We had cousins, Bodie and Carlee spend the night at our house Friday. The kids were so fun and played so well together. We just love having cousins close by. We watched some conference, the boys actually colored and played bingo really well for a lot of the morning session. Then later that afternoon we had an Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma Rainey's house. Josh was pretty excited and Weston figured it out very quickly. I realized I didn't take my camera on Sunday to Grandma Laurie's house. The Easter bunny left a real bunny at Granma Laurie's. Josh named him Joe-Joe. I need to get pictures. They had fun playing with him and playing with the cars on the track with Papa.

Cute Easter outfits (well Weston's is a handme down) I gave to the boys the Sunday before to maximize usage :).

St. Patrick's Day
A leprechaun came to our house and colored our pancakes green. Josh was enthralled with the idea of leprechauns in our house.

We went up to the Children's Museum because it was free. Not a good idea. It was packed to the point of anxiety, so we left with Josh very upset cause he didn't get to go inside the helicopter. I couldn't take it anymore, the line was long and Wes kept escaping and getting lost. Later I found out a friend actually wrote on her child's hand "My mom's name is.."

But we did meet up with Andrea, Jocelyn, and Grandma Rainey to watch the water show.

Everyday Hero
A month ago we went to a fire station with the MBA playgroup. Josh really loves firetrucks and firemen so he was thrilled. I didn't know it was so easy to get inside the station. We usually just stand outside looking at the trucks through the windows on the way to the library. The firemen were great and showed us everything. Josh was soaking it all in. He still talks about how the firemen sleep there and then put on their fire clothes real fast when there is a fire.

I couldn't get a good shot of the two boys. But Josh was cheesing it in every picture.

Just the other day he was pretending to be a fireman with the hose at my parent's house. He told my dad, "Don't be scared of me when I come to your house, it is just me with my mask." That is what the fireman told the kids. Josh amazes me with his memory!

April Fools Day
Haha I am so funny. I text Ben at school this morning and told him I took a pregnancy test this morning and it was positive! When I did talk to him only a few hours later (I couldn't just lie when he asked) he said he was in class when he got the text and he was counting months and everything--then he realized he was counting may 1st, june 1st...and realized it was April fools.
Now Josh, after a fieldtrip to the swim pool and about 5 tired meltdowns on the way home, is climbing in and out of his crib refusing to take a nap. Maybe he is playing an April Fools joke on me.
