Every year on the anniversary of Cameron's death we go to a baseball game with our families. It is a fun tradition and something we can do to celebrate Cameron's life. Thanks for coming everyone! For some reason this year was harder for me. I think we are in a transition and I didn't plan the day very well. It is always easier when I plan the day out. I think also that it has been 3 years. That is a long time. I think of Cameron every day but I don't think of the accident every day anymore (thank goodness), so this year it felt heavier and more intense. I think that as time passes the anniversaries become a bigger deal because things rush back and emotions surface. I guess it is a sign that I am healing, functioning, surviving, embracing life. One things for sure I miss my Cameron boy.

and I just had to post this pic of Cameron the same age as Wes. Blue eyed boys..jpg)

Midway
We had a fun weekend with Ben's family up in Midway. The kids had a blast swimming in the pool. We rode the carousel and went into Park City to ride the alpine coaster. We took Josh and he loved it. We are loving being close to family. Josh has so much fun with his cousins.

Lake Powell

THE Cutest baby...and I love that I have a pic of Cameron and Josh in this outfit at Lake Powell.
It was nearly impossible to convince Josh to get out of the water. He loved the lifejacket and swimming all by himself.
Uncle Pete and Josh in the kayak.
Papa Mike taught Josh how to fish. Josh loved it and just kept realing them in.
Papa Mike is trying to get Josh to kiss this catfish (in my family of fisherman that is what you do before you throw it back).
All the fish Josh caught.
Driving the boat is serious business. Josh watched a little too carefully. At one point my Dad said ok we need to go faster now and Josh slammed on the throttle. Ben almost fell off the back of the boat.
My 2 year old on the tube. He just kept yelling, "Hit it Papa!" "Faster Papa!" This kid has no fear which increases my fear :).
And little Wes swimming free of the lifejacket. The babies just hate those baby lifejackets.

Big Josh
I am backtracking but I just uploaded all my pics. We moved our stuff using PODS with ABF. Josh talked about when our Pods were coming and just happened to be outside when the big semi carrying our Pods pulled up. He was so excited I could hear him from inside the house. It just got better from there. They used a forklift to get the Pods off the semi and put them in front of our townhome. Josh was in awe. Then we found out the forklift driver's name was Josh. He even let Josh sit on the forklift. Josh wasn't scared (no surprise there) and wanted to press all the buttons. As we drove across the country he would pick out ABF trucks and talk about big Josh taking his toys to Utah. Then when we would pass the trucks and he would see the driver wasn't Big Josh he would say, "it's a different big Josh." Pretty cute.

So much to post, but for now cute Joshisms...
Me: "Josh stop picking your nose."
Josh with his finger in his nose: "I'm not"
Me: "What are you doing?"
Josh: "Just getting the boogers out."
Josh to Wes: "Wes you are so cute. You are you are."
Josh in the car and out of the blue: "Mom I want some grapes."
Me: "I don't have any grapes."
Josh thinks for a minute: "What am I talkin' bout?"
(the funniest part is Ben and I laughed so hard that still two weeks later Josh will say this again like a joke and laugh.)
Me: "What a big jump Josh. You are so big."
Josh: "Your Welcome!"
Josh doesn't stop talking all day long. I know every mom thinks their child is brilliant, but he is quite the kid. He makes up stories complete with sound effects. His imagination and memory are amazing. Wes is quite taken with his brother. Love these cute boys!

Moving
Utah here we come. We leave Friday for a cross country drive with both boys. So hopefully we all survive :). Ben is going to be starting the MBA program at BYU. As some of you know this decision has been a tricky one for us. We literally decided about a month ago that we were going to go back to school. We feel good about it, and hopefully everything will work out....I'm sure it will. Just thought I should post an update. If any of you are living, passing through, or visiting Utah please let's get together!

Our little Wes
I decided Wes needed his own blog post. He is growing up so fast. He is 7 months now and has reached a few milestones in the last little while. He has started eating baby food. He doesn't really like it. He has two bottom teeth that barely have poked through. He has started crawling, and is getting fast! Two days ago he pulled himself up in his crib and now won't nap because he is trying to climb up and out of his crib. Today at church he was crawling around and pulled himself up to the chair and just stood there so proud of himself. I fear he may take after his eldest brother and walk soon. Weston is a happy baby. He has a big wide grin that he flashes at everybody all day. But when he is mad watch out he'll let you know it. He also has grown very attached to me...it is pretty bad. Ben or Grandma will be holding him and he is screaming with tears and everything then as soon as I take him he stops--instantly. Then he'll turn and look at Ben with a smile of "I got what I wanted". It is pretty funny. Wes has a little pointy tongue that he loves to stick out. He also loves his big brother, Josh. He tries to follow him around and wants to play with what Josh is playing with. We love having Wes as part of our family.

I was in the kitchen and looked over to see Josh and Wes reading books. Josh was telling Wes what the pages said. It was very cute.
