Utah here we come. We leave Friday for a cross country drive with both boys. So hopefully we all survive :). Ben is going to be starting the MBA program at BYU. As some of you know this decision has been a tricky one for us. We literally decided about a month ago that we were going to go back to school. We feel good about it, and hopefully everything will work out....I'm sure it will. Just thought I should post an update. If any of you are living, passing through, or visiting Utah please let's get together!

Our little Wes
I decided Wes needed his own blog post. He is growing up so fast. He is 7 months now and has reached a few milestones in the last little while. He has started eating baby food. He doesn't really like it. He has two bottom teeth that barely have poked through. He has started crawling, and is getting fast! Two days ago he pulled himself up in his crib and now won't nap because he is trying to climb up and out of his crib. Today at church he was crawling around and pulled himself up to the chair and just stood there so proud of himself. I fear he may take after his eldest brother and walk soon. Weston is a happy baby. He has a big wide grin that he flashes at everybody all day. But when he is mad watch out he'll let you know it. He also has grown very attached to me...it is pretty bad. Ben or Grandma will be holding him and he is screaming with tears and everything then as soon as I take him he stops--instantly. Then he'll turn and look at Ben with a smile of "I got what I wanted". It is pretty funny. Wes has a little pointy tongue that he loves to stick out. He also loves his big brother, Josh. He tries to follow him around and wants to play with what Josh is playing with. We love having Wes as part of our family.

I was in the kitchen and looked over to see Josh and Wes reading books. Josh was telling Wes what the pages said. It was very cute.

Independence Day
We have loved having a pool in our complex. Josh is quite the little swimmer. He has no fear and loves to go in the big pool. He will hold onto a noodle and swim all around all by himself. Pretty much everything these days is "all by myself". We had a fun fourth with my mom in town. We went to the pool, barbecued and then watched the fireworks.

First Glue
Oh yeah and I must tell the story so you won't be wondering what's wrong with Josh's forehead in all the pictures to come. We went to our old church in the Weston ward while we were in Boston. (Yes, it is the inspiration for Weston's name...we loved all the people in that ward--they were so great after Cameron's passing). It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and rekindle lifelong friendships. It was also a little emotional as we dropped off Josh in nursery and memories of Cameron flooded over us. I think others felt that way too. The whole trip was like that really, seeing Cameron's little friends and how BIG they are. And seeing our friends and their families and how different our family is now. Anyway sorry off track, so after a good but emotional church experience Josh was exhausted and running around the hallway. He fell headfirst into a metal doorhinge. It really wasn't horrible but we thought it needed stitches and a doctor at church confirmed that he thought it at least needed glue. Our first reaction was panic as we realized the closest hospital was Newton-Wellesley where Cameron was taken after his accident. I almost lost it and we just got in the car and called a friend to find where else we could go. We ended up at a small hospital that probably would have normally been fast except there was a critical patient. So we ended up waiting for 4hours in the ER for Dr. Phil (really his name) to spend 15 minutes glueing Josh's head. Not the most fun Sunday activity, and really the timing is what was hard. But we made it. And now Josh tells everybody that Dr. Phil glued his head and made it all better.
Sorry I didn't plan for that story to be so long...sheesh.
