Return to Boston

We just got back from a trip to Boston. Ben had a conference for work and Josh and I came along. It was so fun to see old friends and old places. Unfortunately I am dumb, and don't have any pictures of our friends. Josh was a little overwhelmed by all the kids at first, but by the end he was so excited to see them everyday and when he'd wake up from his nap. Thanks to Emily and Mindy for hosting us and driving us all around!

This is a park just down the street from our old townhouse. Cameron loved to come here and watch (and try to play) basketball. Josh was so cute. Here he is asking for the ball.

Mt. Auburn Cemetary. I love this place and wish I could bring it with me everywhere I go. Cameron loved to go see the turtles. I loved to walk here when I was pregnant with Josh, and when Josh was a baby. Josh of course is carrying a stick-rarely do you find him without a stick in his hand. We saw huge frogs all along the shore of the pond.

Ben and Josh at the Scooper Bowl downtown in Goverment Center. We met a big group of friends here one night. It was fun to see everyone and their kiddos.

Kinda scary picture, but I just had to share how much Josh LOVES the water. He was laughing so hard as we ran through the sprinklers. He was trying to jump off the side of the pool before I could even get in. We met Mindy here one morning with her cute girls. This is such a fun and free waterpark.

It was so fun to revisit Boston. It still feels like home especially because since we left Boston we have lived in 3 different places. Of course it will always be a special place with so many memories of Cameron. And we will love to visit in the future with our kids to show them where our family started.

Bathtime Brothers

So I just had to post this because I realized they are nearly the same age in these bathtime photos. Cameron's on top and Josh's on the bottom.... too cute!

Travis the Missionary

I was in Utah for 2 weeks between my Sister's wedding and Travis going into the MTC. Ben wasn't able to stay the whole time, but I was glad to have some extra time with Travis. It was good for Josh to have some extra time with Travis also. Travis is going to Prague, Czech Republic. I am so excited for him. I was able to visit Prague when I did study abroad. I loved it, and who knows maybe I will get to go back and pick him up :). It was weird to say goodbye to my baby brother for 2 years. He was so ready and excited. I am sure he will do great!

Puppy Love

Josh has absolutely no fear of anything, especially animals. He loved the dogs. I don't have a picture of him with Maximus but he was actually saying Maximus when we left Ben's parents house. Here he is hugging Sammy.

Jeni's Wedding

it is pretty bad that I don't even have a picture of the bride and groom. They are coming soon and then I will post one. The wedding went really well. It was beautiful, and Travis was even able to be there for the sealing. Always such a neat experience. I love feeling Cameron's presence at these important moments.

And one last tiny post...

I am pregnant.

And we are so excited. I am already starting to show and only 12 weeks along. I am due December 12th...which with my track record could end up being a Christmas baby.

My Little Brother the Elder...

Already miss him. He was so cute and excited to get into the MTC today. I can't believe he is gone for 2 whole years. I will post more details and photos later, but for today just had to say, "Love you Trav!"
